About Los Cabos, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo
At
the southern tip of Baja California where the Sea of Cortez meets
the Pacific Ocean, lies the dramatic landscape and magnificent beaches
of Los Cabos.
Los Cabos is on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula just
below Southern California and west of Mainland Mexico and fast becoming
one of Mexico's prime vacation locations.
Los Cabos is comprised of two small and very different towns offering
something for everyone. Each town is on the opposite end of 20 miles
of coastline known as the Golden Corridor. Cabo
San Lucas is at the southern tip and San Jose del Cabo is located
to the northeast. Cabo San Lucas boasts an array of clothing and
artisan shops, open air bazaars, souvenir shops, and markets. Cabo
San Lucas is home to the Mariana and mariachis, and rocks around
the clock with shops, restaurants and nightclubs.

San Jose del Cabo is picturesque and historic. Once, a sleepy mission
town, San Jose del Cabo has a colonial history and has established
itself as charming and refined and a great place to enjoy a quiet
meal or downtown stroll. San Jose del Cabo offers a wide array of
unique boutiques and galleries with high quality arts, crafts, jewelry,
clothing and more in a laid back shopping atmosphere.
The Goldon Corridor is famous for spectacular beaches and the
most incredible golf courses to be found anywhere in the world.
Two of the areas finest scuba and snorkeling beaches, Chileno and
Bahia Santa Maria, are located along the Corridor.
You will never be bored on your Los Cabos
Vacation. Between the thriving nightlife, endless water sports
and land adventures, you are bound to have the time of your life!
Los Cabos is home to seals, sea lions and many species of fish
that bask in the sun and waters of the Sea of Cortez and Pacific
Ocean, and is a prime location for whale watching.
The wonderful beaches offer quiet solitude for those who want it,
and for those with something more active in mind, there are smiling
people, fabulous water sports, championship golf, world class fishing,
hiking and great scuba diving.
Los Cabos is one of the world’s best
sport fishing destinations with more marlin and swordfish caught
there than anywhere else in the world. World famous sport fishing
tournaments are held in Los Cabos annually. Additionally, Los
Cabos is quickly becoming one of the best golf destinations in the
world.
The region’s geography is a dynamic mix of unspoiled desert
landscape, white sand beaches and dramatic rock formations. El Arco
(The Arch) is a distinctive rock arch that sits at the tip of Land’s
End and is Los Cabos’ most famous geographic landmark. The
Arch dips into the sea at exactly the spot where the Pacific Ocean
and Sea of Cortez meet.
Vacationers have long prized Los Cabos for its pristine environment,
natural wonders and friendly people.
Nightlife
Cabo San Lucas is the place for a party. Nightlife here is second
to none. There is a strip that runs along the beach where you can
go club and bar hopping experiencing a unique adventure in each
place you visit.
For those who like to party, Cabo San Lucas
nightlife has something for everyone. Down the road in San Jose
del Cabo, the mood is less rowdy, but there is still plenty of good
nightlife to be had.
The official start to a nightlife party is a gorgeous sunset.
Each sunset is different and for some, it’s the most magical
time of day. Sunset may be viewed from many of the bars and restaurants
in Cabo San Lucas….but, to get the best view, face west!
